This earned him a Royal Television Society Award nomination for best newcomer. After having a number of bit part roles here and there, and working as a reporter for BBC’s ‘Good Morning with Anne and Nick’, Corden eventually got his big break in 2000 when he was cast in the British series ‘Fat Friends’. He also had a knack for entertaining people, prompting him to pursue a career in show business.
While growing up, Corden was inspired by his father who was a musician in the Royal Air Force band to become a singer.
